One-on-One Sports Physical Therapy

Rehab built
for athletes.

Complete one-on-one care—from the initial injury or post-operative phase through full return to practice, competition, and performance.

The COR1 approach

Treat the injury. Train the athlete.

COR1 provides the full rehabilitation pathway in one facility with the same provider. Care can begin with pain, swelling, mobility, and early post-operative milestones, then progress into strength, running, jumping, cutting, throwing, practice, and confident competition.

01

Individual Evaluation

Understand the injury, training history, season, goals, and demands the athlete must return to.

02

One-on-One Care

Every visit is centered on the athlete, with direct coaching and progression throughout the session.

03

Objective Measures

Use strength, power, movement, and performance data when those measures can improve decisions.

04

Sport Progression

Move from foundational rehabilitation toward running, jumping, throwing, cutting, and competition.

Inside the program

Specific work. Clear purpose.

Care is one-on-one and cash-pay, allowing the visit to focus on the athlete’s goals and the work needed that day. COR1 can communicate with the broader care team when appropriate and authorized.

01

Begin at the beginning

Start with the initial injury evaluation or early post-operative needs, including pain, swelling, mobility, protection, and a clear plan for the next milestones.

02

Restore options

Address mobility, strength, control, and tolerance while keeping the athlete connected to useful training whenever possible.

03

Reload performance

Progress from isolated rehabilitation into compound strength, power, speed, and sport-relevant tasks.

04

Prepare the return

Build the workload and confidence required for practice and competition, with objective checkpoints when appropriate.

Objective feedback

What we track—and why.

Testing is selected because it changes decisions. Parents and athletes receive a clear explanation of the results, priorities, and next training phase.

What to expect

A plan with a purpose.

  1. 01

    Evaluate

Begin at the athlete’s current stage—whether that is a new injury, immediately after surgery, or a stalled recovery—and establish the plan forward.

  2. 02

    Restore

Improve mobility, strength, capacity, and movement options without losing sight of the whole athlete.

  3. 03

    Reload

Progress speed, power, and sport-specific stress as tissue capacity and confidence improve.

  4. 04

    Return

Transition toward practice and performance with clear milestones and an individualized plan.

Frequently asked questions

Questions parents ask before starting.

01Do I need a referral?+

Referral requirements can depend on the situation and payer. Because rules can change, contact COR1 with your specific circumstances before the first visit.

02What does cash-pay care mean?+

COR1 does not shape visits around insurance billing rules. Families pay COR1 directly, allowing one-on-one care focused on the athlete’s goals. Ask about current rates and documentation before scheduling.

03Can COR1 handle the early stages after surgery?+

Yes. COR1 can begin with the initial post-operative phase and progress the athlete through mobility, strength, running, sport-specific training, practice, and full return to competition.

04Can my athlete keep training during rehab?+

Often, yes. The goal is to modify what is necessary while maintaining safe, useful training for the rest of the athlete whenever possible.

05Can COR1 work with our physician or school athletic trainer?+

With appropriate permission, relevant findings and progression can be communicated so the athlete’s return plan is better coordinated.
