Built for the next level

One athlete.
A complete pathway.

Whether your athlete is chasing more speed, building strength, or fighting to get back after an injury, COR1 connects clinical expertise with real sports performance.

How COR1 works

Clarity before complexity.

Every pathway begins by understanding the athlete in front of us—not assigning a generic program from a menu.

01

Start with the athlete

Discuss sport, goals, schedule, training history, injury history, and the problem the athlete wants to solve.

02

Build the right plan

Use relevant assessment findings to prioritize strength, speed, power, movement, rehabilitation, or return-to-play needs.

03

Coach, measure, adjust

Progress training based on the athlete’s response and repeat useful measures so families can see what is changing.

Proof over guesswork

We measure what matters.

Testing is not a performance. It is a decision-making tool that helps COR1 identify priorities, show progress, and adjust the next phase.

Ways to train

The right amount of attention for the right stage.

01

One-on-one

Maximum individual attention for rehabilitation, return to sport, new athletes, or highly specific performance goals.

02

Semi-private

Focused groups of two to four athletes with individualized priorities inside a motivating training environment.

03

Assessment + testing

A standalone baseline, progress check, or return-to-sport profile with clear interpretation and next steps.

The athletic report card

Parents should understand the plan.

COR1 translates testing and coaching observations into a simple picture: what the athlete does well, what currently limits performance, and what the next training phase is designed to change.

  • A meaningful baseline
  • Clear priorities instead of random drills
  • Progress measures tied to the goal
  • A plan that can change as the athlete develops

The COR1 difference

Build performance. Protect the athlete.

COR1 is led by Dr. Matthew Oliver, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified speed coach with more than a decade of experience working with athletes from youth to the professional level.

Healthy athletes receive true performance coaching grounded in biomechanics, workload, and long-term development. When injuries happen, they have a provider who already understands sport and can guide the entire recovery back to competition.

Coaching in context

Train for where the game happens.

Athletes learn to accelerate, decelerate, change direction, and apply their physical tools in the environments their sports demand. Technique is coached in real time and then progressed toward greater speed, complexity, and decision-making.

For athletes and parents

Exciting for athletes.
Clear for parents.

You should understand what your athlete is working on, why it matters, and how progress will be evaluated.

  • Individual priorities—not random workouts
  • Objective baselines and progress tracking
  • Clear communication around readiness
  • Training designed for long-term development

Frequently asked questions

Start with the right questions.

01Which COR1 program does my athlete need?+

You do not need to diagnose the pathway before contacting COR1. Share the athlete’s goals, sport, age, and current situation in the interest form, and COR1 can recommend the best starting point.

02What ages does COR1 work with?+

The primary focus is middle school and high school athletes. Training is adjusted for maturity, experience, sport demands, and the athlete’s ability to benefit from the environment.

03Can a healthy athlete and an injured athlete train at COR1?+

Yes. COR1 supports both performance development and the rehabilitation-to-performance continuum, with different assessments and training plans for each.

04What happens after I submit the interest form?+

COR1 reviews the information and contacts you using the email or phone number provided to discuss fit, the appropriate first step, and current scheduling.
